Motorcycle road safety in the Philippines cannot depend on riders alone. We are expected to keep our bikes roadworthy, wear proper gear, carry complete documents, and follow traffic rules. That responsibility is fair. But what happens when the road itself has deep potholes, loose gravel, poor lighting, flooding, or unfinished repairs without clear warnings?
